As an author, my writing has received numerous recognitions and awards including, the Rising Kite Award at the Florida SCBWI Conference in 2016, the Young Adult Romance Writers of America Rosemary Award for Excellence in YA and NA fiction in 2014, the Windy City Romance Writers of America Four Seasons award in 2014, and the North Texas Romance Writers of America Great Expectations award in 2015. I know, first hand, the joy, frustration, and effort that go with bringing a book to life. I understand the difference thorough, yet compassionate, critiques can make on a story, and on a writer. I love helping authors make their work the best that it can be, and work with them to hone their craft in the process.
In addition to fiction writing experience, I have extensive experience in grant writing, program proposals, and copyediting having worked for many years in the non-profit world. I hold an MA in Language Acquisition from the Hebrew University, and am completely fluent in English, Spanish, and Hebrew.
